Please document who the seller is, and how it was acquired. The WHOIS changed from arabia.com at NSI to the "Private registration" at eNom only recently, raising concerns over the provenance of the domain

Hello George,
We have requested this information from the seller and should have it after the weekend. Seller lifted privacy protection at Enom at our request so we could see the seller's details are on the WHOIS. We have since requested proof of ownership (eg. sales contract). I should be able to get back to you on this by Tuesday.

PLease note that due to ownership issues, we are not in a position to negotiate a sale on this domain.

George can sniff out *ownership issue* domains like no one else. Well done George!

So if Sedo have not been sure of the ownership of the domain, why has it been advertised everywhere as a 'sedo exclusive'????

being as greedy as anyone else in this business, they r getting ahead of themselves. which is very, very unprofessional.

but, they r in business of promoting themselves. 'iraq exclusive' tagline works as a perfect advertisement for their company. if it turns out to be false, oh well.. several hundreds/thousands of minds had their 'sedo' inprinted into their subconsciounsness anyway. and untold amount visited their website, did business, etc...

can't go wrong with free marketing.

The way i understand it if anyone before this post got their bid accepted and then Sedo realised that it could not be sold, wouldn't Sedo have been liable???? Scary!! Since the acceptance of a bid is supposed to be binding and all that!
