I send 2 emails today to two different people at sedo and got 2 "Out of Office" automated replies.

"Account Manager Domain Transfers" is out of office.
No wonder why 3 domains I bought a couple of weeks back have not been transferred to me yet.

A domain broker I emailed is also out of office although he replied to my email. But he is moving very very slow with negotiations.

I think that sedo is fairly large company and shouldn't be affected by stuff vacations.

I now have a new Sedo rep and haven't needed support yet, but the one I had prior would always send me an email that he was on vacation, either all those emails are lies or Sedo gives equal vacation time to the amount of hours employees work.

out of office = "im too lazy to email you" or "im spending the money that you made on your affiliates during the transfer..."

:upset:

dont get me started....

Today is a public holiday in Germany!!!

Let the Oktoberfest begin! :D

one thing that pissed me off once was that one time when I was in a middle of a deal(one of those deals that take months to finish due to non paying buyer) and my transfer agent left for vacation without notice, and I had to actively seek for another transfer agent to take my case

Germany # USA.

German workers are not cheap slaves. It's a different world for workers.

You have got to understand that.

I respect Germans.

I never said that they shouldn't go on vacations.
But their vacations can stop sedo from working as it should.

If you can't do the work with 2 people then you hire a 3rd to substitute.
It is as simple as that.

US workers are not cheap slaves, they just consciously volunteer to work more because they are not used to the benefits of almost compulsory vacation.

However, a corporation that manages deals internationally should have almost 24/7 coverage by spreading out its personnel and shifts.

Hi Dvdrip,

Alas I am not on vacation - so send me a PM and I'll see if I can assist you!

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Tom,
I don't have to search for the available person at sedo.
Sedo has to search for me and help me resolve my issues.
My rep (that is supposed to be working) hasn't replied to any of my emails today.

When someone leaves for a vacation he/she should notify a colleague for the issues he/she has left behind. Clearly this isn't done at sedo.

I will not PM you and try to explain the whole situation to you. Trying to explain to you will take more time than to wait for the broker to come back.
Anyway buyers are long gone by now. Negotiations are time critical. You can't negotiate with someone in the US when you work German hours. You are going to exchange 1 email per day. And especially you can't negotiate when you go on vacations and leave noone behind.

Also I have paid for 3 domains. I am waiting for simple push and the 2 auth codes for 2 weeks now. I am loosing revenue all this time.

Sedo is far behind #1!

That might explain numerous things.

Someone must have spilled some bock bier into the server. I have a domain name, my number 2 revenue maker, who's landing page has NO active links.

Sent email on Saturday and no response yet!

So last few days of September and first few days of October has hundreds of traffic and no Revenue due to no capability of clicking on a link.

See ya', SeDon't!

Hi dvdrip,

I sent you a PM regarding some of your open transactions.

Best,

Tom

We (Olympiakos) won today at Germany 1-3 so I am happy no matter what... :)

Oktoberfest for Greece!

You see!? this is how they make money off of your domains. if it is a good hit, then they would take their time transfering.

this is quite like ordering a pizza, waiting a week for it and you find out that the deliverer was eating the good pieces off the pizza

I accepted an offer via a broker on Monday. Transaction hasn't yet appeared.

When is the sale of xxxxxxxxxxxx.net going to appear in the transactions?
This month?

I talking about two "clicks" of work at the most!!!

actually Germany is by now a low wage country by European standards, people in training and interns (and there are lots of those at Internet companies) don't make anything or next to anything.
Germany is in last place in Europe in terms of wage increases over the last 10 years. So at least that means Germans are less likely to have to deal with call centers in India.
