Denny,

Rights are given in law, not by companies. Only idiots and fools accept that companies decide the law.

actually, in USA, more companies than individuals are lobbying congress getting bills passsed, and defeated, which become the law or they are changing laws.

Yup, collecting DNF$ so I can upgrade to Moderator.

lol

:)

imo...

anybody who participated in that auction was playing high risk stakes in trying to buy an unproven, "hope for the future" extension.

I too own some mobi names but I be damned if I spend thousands of $ on a mobi

the lawsuit should be againt mtld for holding all those names and trying to auction them off in the beginning!

imo...

You have no such "rights" on Sedo.

Sure they have, Denny. Just not as much as Sedo's. (nitpicky, I know...)

Rights are given in law, not by companies.

Well, that hasn't stopped some people from believing they have some right to
demand back a domain name they didn't renew from another, even though it
isn't written in any Constitution that I'm aware of.

Your right (if any to begin with) is only as good as your ability to enforce it.

I'm sure they do. But isn't that one of their jobs anyway?

I take it you and the others are ready to fight this all the way should a court
of competent jurisdiction rule in Sedo and mTLD's favor? By then, it might be
quite difficult to even remotely acquire those .mobis you supposedly won.

You read that mTLD exercised their right towards Sedo to void this auction,
then start from scratch. I suppose you don't believe Sedo doesn't have the
right to do that to you too, considering it's their resources?

Well, good luck to you. But like I said, I ain't optimistic, and it's not because
I'm a pessimist by nature. :D

Thanks, mate....This all sucks...but, sometimes a stand must be made...

If the court rules against us - I shall accept that...

Anyone else like to contact us with a view to joinng our action? As I said - we're very confident of our position.
