If you mean, checking the auctions on your cell, then having to login via your desktop or pc to the .com to place a bid, then yes, you're on the go.

I don't see anywhere where you can bid on the auctions via .mobi.

priceline mobile is the same way... they have all the info like normal, but then when you go to book a room/flight/whatever it just gives you a link to a phone number.

hopefully some of these mobile sites will wake up and add some real usefulness.. it is likely that they will at some point - still eary in the mobile interwebs world.

I agree with most of you. It would be nice to be able to log in and place a bid whilst on the go but it's a good start none the less. They have the layout set up nicely. I see no reason why they shouldn't be working on more features. It's certainly possible to allow access to bidding from a mobile device.
