I listed ourdailydeal.com for sale on sedo last year at fixed price $60. Now domain name has been dropped for a while but I did not remove it out sedo's system. Unfortunately one value buyer bought it thru my sedo listing last week. Because domain name is not belong to me anymore so the transaction was canceled by Sedo rep. then today I received a sedo commission fee invoice $50 for that transaction :?:. Do I have to pay Sedo commission fee without sale? I'm confused. Please advise!

As you won't be getting paid for something you don't own, you can't be paying a fee either. But you need to contact the Sedo support and explain.

Thanks for your replies. Sedo's office is closed today so I will contact them tomorrow then.

What, for Columbus Day? Offices closed????

Bull. SedoUK and Sedo, headquartered in Germany, don't celebrate Columbus day.

These guys really need to get with the 24/7 program.

I called the phone number list on the invoice and found out Sedo office is closed today.

Received an answer from sedo

Yes you would because you agreed to sell a domain that you did not own, and was forced to cancel the transfer.

Thats bull, what happens when a buyer refuses to pay....nothing. Just had a buyer back out and cancel the deal, in his message he said he would send me 10% of the price to allow the cancellation - still waiting for that 10%.

Hello Everyone,

Sedo's office in Cambridge, MA was closed on Monday in observance of Columbus Day. If you have an urgent issue while one of our locations is closed, I recommend you submit an inquiry online at support.sedo.com. The emails are monitored by international support staff.

If you still have concerns regarding the transfer or would like more details, please send me a PM or contact the transfer specialist through the My Sedo > Transfer Center section of your account.

Hello Carolyn.

As your PM sent me before that I do not have to pay that fee.

Hi Onnin,

Thanks for your PM. The transfer specialist has reviewed the transfer and has submitted a new message. You may view and reply to the following message in the My Sedo > Transfer Center section of your account:

"Please ignore the request for commission. I understand that you did not realize it dropped, and it was a sale for only 60 dollars. "
But I had an email from Dave, a Senior Broker at Sedo.com acquired one of my domain a month ago after we've accepted the price he wanted me to pay the commission fee above first. I emailed him that I do not need to pay that fee as your PM but he wants to hear from you. I sent you a PM but did not get response and after about a month now Dave denied to process.

Thanks
