Since all good domains are reged already, sometimes we must take a look on the future and dream a little bit before reg a new name.

I've done that 2 months ago.

I was watching tv and saw something in the news about a Portuguese girl who is researching about Transparent Electronics.

She said that (maybe) in 2 years Transparent TFT's will be a reallity just like in the movie "Minority Report".

So, i decided dream a little and reged until 2010:

TransparentTFT.com
TransparentTFTs.com

Can you imagine what i thought today when i saw this title:

USC develops flexible, transparent TFT prototype for high-tech temporary tattoos

The dream it's becoming reallity.
And, If the dream comes true, maybe i can make "some dollars" with it :D

Cybersquatter! lol

let us know how it works out...I did this a few years back with RFID technology and had some nice end-user sales

pretty cool stuff, good luck !

eheh :)

I'm just a poor guy trying to make a living :D

pretty cool stuff, good luck !

Thanks.
Let's see.

Another interesting article about transparent technology.

Very Inspiring :)

I don't think i'll have the same luck.

But i'll bet some years on this 2 names :)

Nice handreg. Good luck!

This has been my strategy all along. Congratulations!

Now don't just sit on it waiting for others to add buzz to the name. Develop the name. Blog about it and create a venue to educate others about the subject. For, when you do so, you are adding $$$ to the domain name valuation.

I wish you the best.

speaking of buzz........... :smokin:

Thanks for The Tip ;)

Maybe i try to contact the Portuguese girl to write something about this since i'm also portuguese :)

:pound:

Why not registering the portuguese version as well :P

Good luck!!

I hand reg'd Change Cloud dot com not that long ago.

Change=Obama

Cloud=Cloud Computing

I try to limit these types of reg's but I just couldn't resist on this one.

I also tried to see the future with ChangeCorps.com but it was taken and developed by a like minded fellow.

Good job with the hand reggies! Sometime last year this forum had a rush on MT9 related domains (allegedly going to replace MP3s).

Some times it is a worthy risk for 8 bucks or so.

I can envision a Change Corps becoming a newer version of the Peace Corps.

You never know.

I have often regged tech, travel, and general news names and some have done well.

It is those $8.00 regs that get $$,$$$ within a few weeks or month that make the digging worth while.

'Poor' obviously means different things to different people

eheh :)

in my case poor=without money :)

But i'm rich in I think in everything i have: Family, Happiness, Good Friends... and 223 domains for sale

lol

Did you consider different strategies yet like parking, developing etc ?
Personally I think these domains are screaming for development.
