Hiya all,
I'm an internet idiot and mighty new here. I have a domain name "SellForYou.com which I used for a few years until my business name became available. I "phased out" sellforyou.com and it has been idle now for 18+ months. My business is extrememly local (<50 miles). I am pondering selling www.sellforyou.com and wondered if y'all would have any input as to possible value and how to market it. Many thanks.

It would probably be a good name for one of the companies popping up who sell items on ebay for their clients. $100-200 to a reseller is my thought and, maybe, up to $1,000 to an end user if you have lots of patience.

Why did you kill it? Did you have advertisements? What was your traffic?

"foryou/4u" domains are so 1999'ish.

I see no value unless it has established traffic.

I'd grab the eBay ID sellforyou or sellforyou-com if it's not already taken. I can see potential if you have the time. $300 as it stands.

Thanks for your input. I do not know how to evaluate the "traffic" i got except that when I would send out "flyers" twice monthly I would get between 5000 and 6000 unique hits per month.
What do you mean by advertisers?
Perhaps I will just throw it on ebay and let it go. Thanks again.

You might want to discuss this a little further here before you resort to eBay. I don't think any of us quite understand what it is you have. Tell us about the flyers and what they are/were promoting.
