Ever wanted to own your own confession site like emotiondump.com?
It's a nice little niche that very few (I've only found 2 others in google) site creators have gotten into so if you're going to get into it get into it now!
FEATURES
This is a professional script. It's not something I just threw together in a day or so but something I've been planning to do since early this year and finally have taken the last 2 weeks to do it. This script is feature packed and that's one of the main reasons I've taken so long to develop it. As a webmaster for over 6 years I've packed in every possible feature that I could think of to make this site as easy to admin and as secure as possible. If I were to code this script as a 1 time contract job I would charge a minimum low to mid $xxxx for the work.
The Basics
- TimeZone Adjust
(Set the site to list times according to whatever timezone you like based on your server location. ex +5 or -5 hours)
- Form Security
(all data submitted by users is sanitized before entering the database)
- Coded to work with register globals on OR off
- Fast loading clean code.
- Flexibility.
(You can name the index file whatever.php you like. Just add 3 includes and you're set.)
- Easy to template
(You can do whatever HTML you like around the 3 includes and the included CSS file)
- Mail-To-A-Friend & AIM-To-A-Friend Feature
(both guests and users can use these features for viral marketing)
I decided not add a search feature on purpose because:
A) With all the sort and page number features users can easily bookmark and/or find the page they need
B) The more pages users use trying to find an old post the more pageviews you get on your ads
C) You can always just add a Google search and get paid for clicks on your searches.
If you REALLY want a search I can custom code one for you that searches the database for $5 OR I recommend you use this site search script which is FREE http://www.echoarticles.com/echosearch/index.php
Admin (one login to rule them all!)
- admin system BUILT IN to the site itself
(you log in just like regular users but can see admin links and tools)
- admin can be any name.
(You can browse and post comments and no one on the site will know you're the admin if you don't want them to)
- Admin Notify Setting
(be notified OR NOT via email when users post submissions)
- Admin Approve Setting
(Admin can set the submissions to be either auto-approved or moderated)
- Set Max per page
(Set the maximum submissions & comments to display per page)
- Admin Editorial Priviliges
(Edit, Approve, Activate and or Delete submissions and comments on the spot)
- Accounts for comment posters
(This also provides you a nice little mailing list
)
- Require email validation for registering users (or not)
- Activate/Deactivate User accounts
- List In-Active Submissions
Users (you only need a user account to post comments)
- Can Register
- Edit Email
- Edit Password
- Lost Password Feature
Installation
- Simple Installer. Simply edit the short config file options, run the installer and you're live!
Ownership
You of course will not have resell rights to my script UNLESS you sell the entire site. Each license is for usage on one internet domain only. I can, have in the past, and will contact our ISP with a C&D letter and have your site shut down if you run an unlicensed copy of my script. License key is included and integrated into the script. This is to protect not only myself but to keep freeloaders from putting up dozens of sites and flooding the market. This is a lifetime license and you are entitled to version upgrades free of charge.
Support
I am setting up a forum shortly at www.confessionscript.com. Licensed script owners get my new MSN address that I log on daily just for them.
Licensed script owners also are entitled to custom modifications/feature addons (NOTE: This includes integrating the script into a a new template for you) at $5 per hour. I STRONGLY recommend you take me up on this instead of hiring someone else. This price is extremely fair and another coder won't know my code like I do so I'll likely finish any mods in 1 to 2 hours saving you money anyway.
Requires PHP 4 and MySQL 4.x (pretty much any host with PHP and MySQL will work)
PRICE: $34.95
(this will go up to $74.95 in 1 week or when I finish the ordering system and forums)
I think this is a fair price considering the quality of the script and it helps keep hundreds of people from grabbing a copy and causing you competition.
