Hi DnForumers,

Would like to know if any of us here has any success selling domain names via Twitter? I believe there are some of us with decent followers of tens of thousands. At one click, thousands of followers can see your message

If you guys can vote, would appreciate. Would like to see whether Twitter is a good medium of domain sale.

Also if you can share how many followers you have for your domain related twitter account.

Cheers.

I've seen domains offered for sale on twitter and facebook, would also like to know if anyone's had success going that route. I'd think the results aren't that great, but maybe not.

Maybe if the sale from Twitter, the buyer might also be a domainer, not an end user. Unless if we use a Twitter account with fatloss niche and promote Fatloss.com to the followers ;)

Yeah i wonder what members have thousands of followers on here because they all should be millionaires...........

Well all the marketing gurus reckon just 3000 followers should be enough to make a million if done right......... ?

I was thinking about using Auction_com as a domain selling account for my names but just have not got around to anything about it. Sounds as though it could be a good idea.

Do the math... that averages out to $3,XXX per follower in revenues.

someone needs a calculator... I'll be selling them on twitter for $334 each :pound:

and considering you need to make that a million net ...Lets say at a market up of 50% to make the math easy. You'd need to hit each follower for $668 or two calculators LOL.

just teasing but I think its amazing...

but not easy to shake $700 out of 3,000 people...

:yo:

I have almost 10k real followers on my only twitter account!

But going back to the original question, I don't think Twitter is the right platform to be able to sell domains, I developed a website about a year ago that enabled you to sell domains through Twitter, and have them all listed on this site... many domains listed, not many, if one sold.

My bad... it's not like me to flub such an easy calculation.

I think you'll only attract other domainers. It will be next to impossible to reach end users via Twitter. Hence, landing high $XXX per domain will take one heck of a name.

Deal of the century right here. As 3,000 followers=$1,000,000 - I'm selling Twitter accounts with this many followers for pennies on the dollar. Just $25k each.

What, no takers? "All the marketing gurus" said...

Seriously though if you know how to monetize accounts with lots of followers, hit me up. I got "hot girl" accounts that I haven't done anything with. Young, horny guys populate my followers lists, no doubt.
