But, the seller found a large Australian company that happens to trade under the name 'ServCorp' - and, persuaded them to pay $75,000 for the domain of their corporate name.

He/she took a risk and it paid off. 99.9% of the time giving someone that kind of a price for a _blank_corp.com domain name would be instantly rejected. Its impossible to know when it will pay off and when it would result in the loss of a sale. Ah, the mysteries of domaining.

...takes you to a company specialising in 'Demonstration' services....apparently unrelated to the Australian organisation...


All I can think is that the Aussie Servcorp have bought the domain, but haven't yet pointed the NS to their .com.au site...or, haven't mirrored it with their new Servcorp.com domain....or, haven't built a new site for it yet, and the NS still point to the old owner...?
