Just my opnion but way over priced. 13 mil is alot of money period and right now cash is king!

Speaking from experience (having worked for the company that brokered the deal for Casino.com and then for the company that bought and who currently operates it), there's absolutely no reason why, if they play their cards right, that the new owners couldn't make their investment back in less than a year. 13 mil is a potential steal for this domain.

Or they could go bankrupt like every other loser that's failed to turn a profit with this domain.

.

however, sex.com is no longer the record price domains, after the CarInsurance.com sale for $49.7 million

.

Great domain, but man that is so much money to spend on a domain name. I think I would rather buy a $10 brandable domain and spend the $13 mil to build up the brand and promote the domain. But, I guess the domain will be worth more money as time goes on, especially if they develop it nicely.

A $10 brandable domain doesn't get 125k type-ins a day. ;)

Most of which do not intend on buying or subscribing to anything to begin with.

how do you know that? It's a parked page right now. They'll earn good money even if they set up a site like videos.com.

The last time it was up for sale, I was privy to some of the due diligence. Unfortunately, the last owner got caught up in the hype and went bankrupt.
