Appraisal please.

I'm sorry if I have posted a duplicate post, and I shouldn't.

I am looking for having this as a good resource regarding sexual health, not (only) as a run-of-the-mill sex site. Looking to develop it myself, but was looking for suggestions, and encouragement (honest, of course) about the domain name itself.

Thanks!

Please do take a few seconds to reply. I won't be disheartened!

The thing is you're probably the only person seeing 'sex n me'. There are registration fee alternatives that I could buy right now which kind of convey the same meaning.
With regards to it being about sexual health - that is a label and a usage that you have assigned for it. Currently it doesn't convey, or carry, that.
Undeveloped $0 is my opinion. I would develop it yourself then sell it as a multiple of its income.

I knew I will be the only person who will see it as "sex n me" unless I develop it and tell people that it is that, which I plan to.
SEXANDME.COM IS 675 USD. I got mine at reg fee.
Can you please tell me what you are thinking when you say "same meaning"? Would help me when I buy my next.
I also related it to TOYSRUS
I also agree that the name doesn't 100 pc relate to sexual health but if you look at your relationship/experience with sex as in "Marley and Me", do you now think some bells ring?

Thank you deeply for taking out time to reply. I am following domains for years, but never sold/developed one for profit. Also please let me know what is the average selling price when you consider the income? If I make a 100$ per month out of a site, how much can I ask?

Thanks again!

Certainly it could be developed around that meaning although. As it stands though as a registration I don't see any value as is. Toysrus spent around 8 million dollars branding their website around a lot of countries. They didn't start with a domain with no website and build it overnight and certainly it had no value until they brought value to it.

Thanks. I know I have a long long way to go before this gets to any similarity to ToysRUs in name recall.

You didn't answer my other questions. What according to you is similar to SEXANDME that is easily available? It will help in broadening my thought process when I think of names.
And the selling price question, please.

The selling price has already been addressed I think. Without development none. The thing to think about is 'what am I bringing to the table? Can someone get an equally undeveloped domain and bring value to it?'. The name itself is not a must-have domain for development in the sexual health area. As such it cannot command a premium price. Also why is sexual health limited to one person? What about a couple? Perhaps SEX N US... available.

Without development, none. Agree to that. I had asked let's say after developing it I earn 100$ out of it every month, from your experience what do you think I will get or I can ask, if I am selling the site out. What multiple of monthly/yearly revenue do sites get sold?

Sorry If I wasn't clear that I meant selling post - development.

Ah sorry I misunderstood. Normally developed you'd be looking at a multiple of revenue - usually 6-12 months (for a 'trend' domain or dodgy area) to up to 5 years for generic constant traffic.

You could buy and develop Sex.com into a sexual health resource, though most of the people who do type it in are looking for porn, though the name may have a different meaning to people than say porn.com does. Once developed into such a resource, a certain number of the sex.com porn visitors would stay for the information, but some would of course quickly want to be back at pornhub or some other porn resource.

You know Sex.com was actually trying to post stuff on YouTube years ago, but I think they were banned from that. My own video on youtube about that domain name is one of my most viewed, but they had taken it down for a while too and gave me an account strike, but when I appealed, they restored it.

Thanks for the reply. Agree with you.

Would be great if you could point me to your video. Maybe I can use it/something from it for the site, with credits.
