here is to words with less popular extention

a one word .ws cost now $40-50, I took several and will wait 2-3 years maybe this ext goes better, this is risky to pay more then a 50 just for reselling.

but for end user for development this may cost a bit more

This is unpossible to forcast with dev - all depends what and how.

In development the name dont play a big role, there is a projects on 0 cost domain names but they are the leeders of the industry.

godaddy like domain cost "0" and every 4th time i make same typo - dodaddy
and there is a lot of projects with noncense names in first positions at the google
