Is it advisable to register .sg domains? Reading the restriction is too much limitation for us resellers, where you can't transfer the domain name to another person/organization.

Read Restriction of Use sections 17 and 24.

Any thought?

Ceratinly is confusing
IMHO it is now laissez faire
Transfer of registrants is allowed providing the 2 regsitrants agree. Duh!
However I have wriiten to a registrar and asked for a plain english explanation
Let you knoiw the reply ( after I have reg'd the name I want! )

You need a singapore administrative address as well.
Registrars are charging $50 - $100 for that in addition to domain fees.

Got this from a registrar:
"However, as it is not common practice for registries to send out postal mail
to its registrants, we have noted that some overseas based registrants have
opted to use their own contactable telephone, fax numbers and email with
the mailing address information of a local acquaintance."

So, only the postal address needs to be in Singapore

Any DNF members in Singapore want to offer that service?

Still need to know how easy it is to push a name after a sale

Some registered domains were posted as US address. Not sure if they will be deleted.

I wonder if gibson.sg has been registered :)

Can anyone confirm that this IS for real? I've been burnt by .eu sites in the past, I don't want it to happen again.
