It doesnt matter if its a good name or not. You have a customer with the .net . Pick up the phone, talk to the owner and sell the name. Might be able to make a quick 1K if you can explain their business would be so much better off as a dotcom and they could always forward the .net to their new address.

yeah, that sounds like a great idea!


i was thinking about emailing domain owners who might benefit from some of my names...

but what if they try to bring up trademark or copyright?

or try to claim that i'm harrassing or spamming them?

any suggestions on the best way to approach such people?

if the domain names you have are Trademarked i think you'll lose any legal battle with big companies, don't email them yet, they may contact you.

IT is not trademarked. I checked on marksonline.com

 

shoppingfirst.net just seems to be a redirect to laptopgear.com, so not sure if the are really serious about it, though probably worth trying them.
