Hello, this is my first post in this forum.

I am an attorney and professional arbitrator and am currently trying to help two parties come together in partnership. One of the tasks is to figure out net present value of each of their assets, among which are the domain names shopwhite.com and shopblack.com. My client owns shopwhite.com and while we intend to obtain a professional appraisal , I ran across this forum while doing my research and would like to get the comments of the members here.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Well, if these 2 names are the basis of any partnership - then the fees you charged far exceeded the value of either of these names. The are negative in any context, so therefore do not have any commercial value, but rather possible liability.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks, both of you, for your responses. The names alone are not the basis of the partnership, but they are listed as assets, and as such, must receive an valuation which is agreed upon by both parties.
