Hi,

This is my first post, so please forgive me if I'm not following the local rules of engagement.

I own about 200 domains for various projects I'm developing. Because meaningful domains are becoming harder and harder to find, I tend to find it easier lately to "Invent" words for future branding like "Vovio.com".

I own a lot of 5 digit words that basically mean nothing in particular, but seem easy to type and (hopefully) remember. I've got a knack for finding these kinds of words.

So, what is the consensus here about 4-6 letter words that don't mean anything? I'd love to hear from people who are in the domain business.

The *vio ending is overly used. Have a double cup of coffee - it works wonders when trying to think of creative names.

Hi Zurio, and welcome. I like your idea but wouldn't suggest you register a large amount of these. You'll probably get "renewal syndrome" which presents as a migraine and mental block when you receive the renewal notices each year.

Welcome to DNF.

Let me give you some hint:
Vovio is not a word even, I know it is a 5 letter name but 5 letter names which are unbrandable are worth only from 5-50 $.

Get a name with a prounouncable or meaningful word.

Vovio is just a make up word like asdgd.com. Reg fee.

I don't mind vovio.com and I think it is brandable. I just wouldn't want too many of them. I sold azooza.com for $500 and that was a free reg for a potential brand gamble. As I posted elsewhere, palindromes are good bets for "nonsense" names. Also, to be fair, volvio is pronouncable but asdgd isn't.
