Not sure how you'd like me to confirm that I own the domain.

-If you go to http://www.shorty.com/buyshorty.html (which will redirect you to www.ding.net, the site I'm moving my sites to), I added a note at the bottom for you.
-I also added a note at the top of the front page at wiki.shorty.com (I haven't moved subdomains to ding.net yet)- it's a wiki, but I have the only account on it.
-You can email me at [email protected] if you like.

I'll also disable the Contact Privacy settings on the domain tonight if that helps. Other than that, all I can say is that it's been my domain since I registered it in 1995. If you have any suggestions of how I can prove ownership, I'm open to suggestions.

Good luck with your sale. For my 2 cents, I would only do the sale thru escrow.com or another reputable agency.

Paypal is NOT safe, the buyer can take the name and charge you back...plenty of people here will tell you the same.

Paypal will NOT help you in anyway. EBAY/PAYPAL does not consider domains names "merchandise".
Only use Paypal for buyers you know and trust.

I've been reconsidering using Ebay- they require Paypal, and I also have some concerns about that. If I moved the auction elsewhere, I assume Sedo would be the recommended location?
