Should I buy the .info or .us city name?

Hello,

I am looking to buy a US city name domain but am stuck on which version to get. I am looking at either the .info version or .us version. I figured the .info was the better choice since it is a city that is visited by people throughout the world. On the other hand, it is a US city so maybe .us. What is you opinion? I have not seen the same city sold in .info and .us to do a price comparison so if anyone knows of such a situation that would be helpful.

I would prefer .US for a US city. Just me though, I do like .US
