Given the registry has locked up all the good names, this is all pretty ridiculous. All these new gTlds managed by (or in the style of) domainers have huge conflicts of interest.
We have all these new Tlds where second-tire domains are pretty much worthless and the few 100s of top-tire names are pretty much all reserved by the registry…

I tried every geo in my area and all were reserved right down to the smallest of towns. I was willing to go out on the limb with some local geo's even though I feel that .properties is the extension that would be more natural to me. In the real estate context I believe that I personally would be thinking "city.properties" as opposed to "city.property". The field is a little to crowded with the .realtor and .realestate and I have picked up a few .mortgage extensions myself. The .loans is the closest competitor to .mortgage though I feel that a mortgage is a unique type of loan that pretty well stands by itself.
