I didn't know they had a name for "it"
...And my intent was to generate an "intelligent" discussion as to what was REALLY worth registering and not.

...Sometimes it takes someone to take a contrary position to make people stop and think about what they're doing. And as I said I don't want anyone to take offense over this. But I'm sticking with my opinion.

I take back the trolling comment. I like how you stick to your guns on this one :)

EDIT - checking whois it looks like I did get ndc and another one. Hooray for me! LOL You know it was a stinker of a week when your proud of that domain...

Haha I also got 2008 elections... well here is to hoping Harper holds off till the new year, but it's not looking good...

Someone here got adventureclub and Baremetal and not Pool got better.ca

Happy for you.. looks like you only had to wish today..... I like lawnaid.ca best.. Trymark.ca looks interesting too...

Yes, for a change, better went to Baremetal and NOT Pool......Happy for them.. Looks like TBR must have been fair today, unlike most of the other days, when Pool and it's bunch of XXXXXX come out roaring like a lion.

Time to update this thread, it was getting too low.

A few decent names in tomorrow's TBR, there are a few good ------blog.ca
names available (moneyblog .ca), etc. also bulkemail and mytelephone are there, I think. No 'great' names again as far as I can see.

Thoughts on 8a.ca? I'm a big fan of NN.ca and LL.ca but I've tended to avoid mixing unless it has specific meanings. I see it's already bid up to $100 on Sibername. Maybe people are thinking "eight eh?" or "ate eh?" but that's still pretty lame. Anyone ever hear of one of these actually being sold? Curious to know what others think.

BTW, if anyone has good LL.ca or NN.ca I may be interested, please send PM.

I'm hoping namespro has another big day for me - I got lots of cheap bids in on some domains including the two character. It would be my first one so I'd be happy to pay less than $50 for it.

feces.ca I betcha it gets some type-ins! LOL

And you know some are using scripts on the bidding - the top bids on namespro all came in at 1:39:59 PM - there are a couple others right at 1:40.00

someone outbid me for mlmcanada at the last second at sibername, just missed putting in a topping bid.

got a bid in for charterfishing for under $20 at another registrar too, at sibername it was at $150.

I've got lucky with 1:39:58 manual bids at namespro a couple times before. But for every one of those I probably had three more attempts at 1:40:03 :) It's a risky business that last minute bidding!

Whitebark, good luck with the 2-character name. I wondered who outbid me for it at namespro! Top bidder for it at sibername was $150 though (not me), so I hope you beat em to the punch!!

There are potentially some bargains to be found if sibername and pool do not get the cream of the drop.

How do you find out about your catches so quickly? Usually I don't see till they show up in whois much later.
