I have no plans to do this ..........

Just a hypothetical question

Say you have a Enom reg rocket or PDQ

Now if someone registers a domain for say 2 years .......

Then that link has to be there for two years for them to login
to change the dns and renew it etc.

The same with the reg rocket on www.whois-search.com - one of
my customers registered a domain for 10 years

Now say if your site is sold for traffic reasons

- or say you take the link off - or something happens -

how will you provide them with a login ?

Are we covered by the fact that our customers domains

are in an enom reseller account - we could just keep one

account active and give them a login via email if i

remove it from my site. Enom.com will be there for 10 years

and not sold LOL

Also you have to renew their domains they have to have a link to the account - http://access.enom.com won't let you renew a domain

Just in case you are planning to sell the domain name and re-establish a new domain name for new business image or other reason you may have (selling the domain or trading, etc). I suggest that you provide notices ahead of time to your clients/partners and still use the same reference code of rocket registry or PDQ to the new domain name.

Provide short descriptive reason on why are you doing this change so you still hold your client loyal to your business.

This is what I do to some resellers account I bought that have existing accounts and slowly moving them to my parent account or stay live 'till the clients are ready to move.

Hope this help A.

DOmain names registered through RR can be managed via *any* RR "access" link. Try this by going to access.24hrnames.com and manage any domain with a RR password. it works!

(if you don;t have any customers who registered domains via RR, just assign a password to one of your domains from your domain manaement panel and then try it).

So, basically, your RR customers can access their domains from pretty much any RR page-link. Just don't use eNom's own accesss link. hehe I hear it's limited in options and you can't unlock registrar xfer..... :)
