Hearing from another domainer that Sibername was now charging for Auth codes to transfer a domain away from them.
So just got off chat with Siber and they said Auth code is now done through support and there is a $12 charge.
I am going to look into this further. I will contact Brent or Eugene for clarification.
This is bad as the very least they get from me/us is $35 for a domain through the TBR.
They said they let people know this was coming..I told them I hadn’t received anything...anyone else get anything?

Hi Ray;

This is Bulent from SiberName.

I can assure you that We do not charge for transfer outs.

The fee if for early cancellation of services like Email and Website builder. The support person did not know the details when talking to you and I already responded to you on this.

We can not charge a fee based on our agreements with CIRA and we are doing this for 20 years.

Please rest assured there is no such fee.

It’s great to have a representative here on DNForum from Sibername. And not just any representative, it’s Mr. Turkouglu. :)

It would be nice to see someone from the other MAIN TBR catcher here as well.

Thanks for clarifying.
you should let your chat support know this as I was clearly told by chat support that Auth codes were by request of support and were $12

I wasn’t actually going to transfer a name ...I was just seeing if what someone else said was in fact happening.
it was always the same for years that you could get your auth codes right from our domain management area.
That is why I contacted you via email hoping you would clear it up.
