You should make something where it shows how many times your signature link was clicked and from what members. This would be kind of cool. :becky:

With my shiny new Signature now in place below :) I think that would be a novel stat to track.

Therefore, I second this Motion.

Any possiblilities DNF?

(PS: Thanks aZooZa for your help!)

I add my vote for this.

I change my banner semi-frequently and would like to know how affective the ads shown are being clicked :-D

why dont you track them yourselves?

that way you could even see from what thread a user click to get to your site.

it will take you all of about 15 lines of PHP code to do this, and insert into a database.

for instance you could add something like www.yourdomain.com/?click=dnforum to your signature

then

something like

<?

if (issset($_GET("click")) {

$camefrom = $_GET("click");
$referer = $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"];
}

Then do a simple database insert

Insert (id, camefrom, referer) into TABLE Values ('','$camefrom','$referer')

or something like that..

for DNF to do it would be very simple, but better if you done it yourselves.

From what members would be doing it a bit overboard.. But, placing the click stats inside the Signature Image Upload would be a nice little add-on.

Cool Idea. But how ironic that this idea is from a member who has his account terminated. LMAO.
