Silver.com Strikes Gold - Closes 2012 Sales Season in One of Year's 3rd Biggest Deals

The new weekly domain sales Report is out at DNJournal.com. The 2012 domain sales season closed with a bang as Silver.com changed hands in the year's third biggest sale. It was followed by two more six-figure sales including one that hit a quarter of a million dollars. With our final 2012 report covering the last two weeks of the year we expanded our usual Top 20 Charts to 40 positions each. The .coms swept 32 of the 42 positions on the all extension leader board (the extra spots resulted from a thee-way tie for the final position). The ccTLDs and non .com gTLDs each had five chart entries. The .US extension posted its two biggest sales of the year to take a pair of places on the top half of the elite list.
