traffic levels:extreme tracker shows about 11,000 uniques in the past 3 days/per day. In the past 2 weeks traffic levels are about 7,000 to 8,000 uniques per day. Note: this site has received in total over 1 Million visitors
traffic source: mainly google and some yahoo visitors
link popularity: marketleap shows 3,112 backlinks
revenue: all net profit is from advertising - stats since Jan 1st 2005 show an average of about $250/day Yesterday the site made about $300
( average net profit since Dec. 21 2004 is about $200/day)
Other pertinent information:
I purchased the site a couple years ago from the original registrant and fully re-developed the site. When I got the site it was getting traffic, however, was not listed in the major SEââ¬â¢s. So, most of that traffic was via type-ins and probably links on other sites. It has a top 10 listing of the keyword which is its url. I will also include the dash version of the name and a few other related and highly valuable domain names.
I used adsense for this site more than a year ago and some days were as high as $500-$600 per day. My highest all time for this site was over $800. However, that adsense account has since been disabled because of invalid clicks on another one of my sites. Obviously this site was unaffected, however I was forced to take off the adsense ads and therefore did not tweak the site for SEO until last month.
NOTE: I have since signed up for another adsense account under my newly formed corporation and it is now earning from adsense.
Iââ¬â¢m looking to get at least 8-10 months revenue for this website. I was offered $20K for the name itself about a year ago, however, I turned it down and so far it far exceeded that amount with the previous earnings made.
