I was wondering what iPBFree.com is. There are 12 domains from users to choose from:

freeforumhost.net
ipbfree.com

t3.cc
tm7.org
vnk.org

xpt.net

zud.org

its a free invision power board host and the stats are in the top right of the site.

Remember you are telling me the worth of the whole package (developed

for the entire business...hmm.... I figure maybe $2500-$6000 depending on traffic stats...

I would say between $3000 and $5000. I'm not sure what the three letter .orgs could be used for, except for maybe bb2. Free forum host might be worth a hefty sum, but who knows. The IPBFree domains are decent too.

How long have you been running it? What's it making? What are you doing with those other domains? AFAIK they just point to ipbfree.com now.

Not to be a downer, but IMHO you can't get a fair estimate of value on a business without a whole lot more information.

We have been runing it about 2-3 months now, its making 5-10$ a day via google ads, the other domains are so users can have theirforumname.domain.tld, you can look at the other domains and i am sure some of them still have the test account on them, test.domain.tld.... i think thats all the info you need correct me if i am wrong

Let's say on average it's making $7.50/day, so it's making 2737.50 annually. Subtract the costs of operation, and you get a net profit number. For the sake of argument I'll assume you're running this on a $100/mo dedicated server. That's about $1500/yr net.

In every line of business we take a different multiple of annual profits. On a free forum host I think you'd be lucky to sell it for 1 yr's net. I'm sure others will disagree and may say more or less, but if you're seriously trying to sell it as a business, you could potentially get in the neighborhood of $1500.

If it doesn't take much work to run the site and it's self-promoting, personally I'd hang on to it and collect the checks.
