doesn't really work ... a domain is different than a website ... website whois?

thanks guys, interesting thought GiantDomains... I think I have a way of making it work though when I develop it.

great. Looking forward to seeing it. Good luck.

I like this one and dislike this one:

1-- People who don't know much about domains frequently refer to a domain as a site.
2--- People who don't know much about domains don't know what a whois is.

My angle of thought at the moment is to make it a toolbar service, so by effect... you're doing a "site whois" while you are visiting it.

I think that works. heh.

I get cha' .. like a "site-integrated" whois search bar.

i like that angle.

Thanks GiantDomains.... I had that idea in mind, but until you pointed the site/domain issue, I never picked it up for some reason! Heh, maybe I was looking at it too hard .... thanks.
