I recently developed this site but its very frustrating ... hardly see any traffic. Any suggestions on increasing traffic will be highly appreciated. I see lot of advertisements promising good ranking in search engines but very skeptical of the claims. Any suggestions on SEO optimization?

find the terms you want to be found under, make sure they are popular terms that people actually search for, you can figure this out be looking up keyword counts per month in places like overture.com in the keyword selector tool under resources..then goto google or yahoo and search those terms...find the top 3 sites and visit them, copy their meta tags by left clicking on their site and choosing view source, then just change them around a little bit to suit your needs for your site and maybe morph a few together as you don't want to copy them exactly as this is unethical and might even get you delisted from the search engine, make sure your intro description contains useful keywords and does not repeat the same word more than twice..this is an easy way to get ranked well in search engines...theres alot more too it but this will get you on the right track..just try to pattern success after success, don't try to re-invent the wheel!
