Before I start, can I clarify that I do NOT own this domain name, neither do I have any commercial interests in promoting it.

However on doing a search I notice Slimming.co.uk is up for sale at £15,000

So considering there are many experts here at DNforum.com , can anyone advise what you would be prepared to pay for it.

Personally £15k seems a bit much to me, I would value the domain in the region of 2>3k

Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

yeah 15k seems a bit too much especially in british pound currency. I think about 2-3k sounds good. I am not british though so the word slimming there might be more popular then i realize.

I have never really heard this term used much in the US..

I'd say £2-5K. It is an excellent name, but I can't see it going for anything over 5K.

Actually my valuation has just gone down on Slimming.co.uk after I discovered how many type-ins it gets.

Considering 1 of the main reason a client would buy this domain, would actually be to get the targeted traffic it should bring, however at 15>20 type ins a day, NO Good.

Down to £1,000 for me
