well I trully like this name especially in consideration that smogcheck is such a big deal in california (not much in canada).
It could be used to advertise a product to pass smogcheck and maybe build an affilliate network and printing sign in the back of you car that would read something like :did not pass your smog check? visit smogcheck.ca/(+refferall) guaranteed 100%.!!!!!
I saw a few on the road already.
What do you think?
By the way it has some traffic and overture with extension.

Interesting, but I dunno about the SEO challenge in getting the SEs (such as G, M and Y) to rank you high with a .ca domain...

I think it will (soon) be an issue in the major urban centres within Canada - especially Montreal and the GTA.

Worth developping - try finding a decent affiliate program for such a testing tool - have you found any?

Sounds good - definitely develop it, because you will not get anything decent for the domain (unless there is a hungry enduser in mind)....

Good luck!

I heard from many people about somebody using .ca names for California. Are you sure about that? I challenge you to find 5 sites that use .ca and located in California.
Maybe I am wrong, but i have never saw somebody using it, also taking into consideration that CIRA doesn't allow american citizens to register .ca names.
