If a domain goes to auction on Snapnames and shows only 1 in the bidder column (being you) so no one else has placed a bid during the backorder phase, can they still bid in the auction?

Even if not then why does it go to auction but only shows 1 bidder rather than just become yours?

Normally if you are the sole bidder you are awarded the name at auction close.

Hi

it looks like all auctions are public and anyone can join an auction in progress, until time expires.

this way the auctioneer hopes to get higher bids

Ah, I miss the days of Hank Alvarez and his "now you see my bid, now you don't" :D
