For the past 12 hours all I get is:

The SnapNames® site is temporarily unavailable.
We're sorry for this brief inconvenience. Please try again in a few minutes.

yep :

The SnapNames® site will be unavailable on July 4, 2008 from 1:30AM until 9:30PM PST.

Argh, thanks.

So much for backordering anything today.

Useless anyway. I've stopped using them, since they never give me control over the domains I win... Incompetent bastards.

That's no good for business. Shutting the whole site down?!? Wonder what happened..

I'm sitting in a lawn chair outside their office right now, just drinking a few beers. They appear to be closed for the day.

at least Manage.SnapNames.com has been working

jim

All auctions that were suppose to end today will be pushed back to end tomorrow.

Not anymore :shy:

The SnapNames® site is currently unavailable. Please check back later.

Auctions that were scheduled to end on July 4th and July 5th Pacific will now end on July 8th.

bummer.... What type of update is going on where it takes more than 2 days to complete?

In all likelihhod it's caused by bandwidth issues due to all the ongoing Snapnames auctions and their fast growth.

Bandwidth was also the issue with Moniker (that seems to be fixed now with their server upgrade).
