Is there anyone who has defeated SnapNames on grabbing BulkRegister's drops[*]. I am now targeting a quality BulkReg-hold name which someone else has already backordered thru SN.

If any, which service were you using? Thanks!

[*Released/Dropped DNs formerly regged thru BulkRegister]

I'm trying to find out the best way to do it by hand - ie not using a service, but maybe run a script off one of my servers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Frankly which registrar it is doesn't matter at all.

Snap gets beaten every day by mine and other drop services. And they beat us. It's all a matter of when the name breaks loose and whose script hits it first.

The more places you can reserve it the more likely you are to get it.:)

I believe the 'drop' services, should 'refund' monies if the name is not snapp'd.. vs. giving users a 'credit'

I believe the 'drop' services are auction houses at best..

top bidder get's the name..

I believe names 'should drop' when the registrant chooses not to renew.. i don't believe that 'registrars' should have a 'snap' association or any form of 'drop snap' name services.

just my opinion.

Thank you all, especially Gordon, for your opinions! Factually, before I started this thread I've backordered this lovely name thru DW;)
