snapnames v sedo ?

O.K say if you got the same domain starting at both auctions for $60.......which one would result in the highest sale / on average in your opinion ?

Just trying to work out which is best to sell on for a domain stating at $60...?

Most likely Sedo. Snapnames is mostly the place to go for dropped domains, where feeding frenzy (at least for good names) triggers a bidding blitz war.

But now you can enter any domain on snapnames through moniker with just a click of a button........

So say if i got a run of the mill domain which has kicked off at sedo for $60 you reckon it could run higher than say at sedo or snapnames ?

which auction has the best exposure and higher prices for domains ? i just cant fathom out which auction is the best to sell at ?

In my opinion, a crap name stands little chance in either platform Sedo has a larger end-user audience, so I'd expect better performance there. But don't take my word for it, experiment

I have to agree because of the half decent domains i have bought on snap which i feel would go for more on sedo but like you say i will have to experiment........

actually, you could not do this according to the TOS of either service.

as auctions must be exclusive to the respective platform.

but i would say sedo has better chance for even the crappiest of domains, simply because they may feature the domain on their home page.

It's simple: when you sell your persian rug at the local bazaar, the locals will see it. Your price is per the economics of that local market. If you sell your rug at the big city market, your pricing will adjust accordingly and now you'll have more passers-by to sell it to.
