Who are these people? Point any of them in the forum out for the benefit of the rest of us.

So, let me see if I understand you correctly. Even though numerous music related domains have been reserved premium by the registry, and this one is a generic music term with over 150,000 Overture searches, your sincere belief is that it has no value at all without development; however, you do believe that domains such as payout.mobi and businesssolution.mobi do have value, terms with Overture scores of 352 and 12,253. If I understand you correctly, this is what you expect people to believe about you?

Interesting.

Perhaps you would care to provide some reasons for the benefit of the forum, so we all might share in the insight by which you arrived at this figure.

What a world. Well, when I was looking for more music related dot mobi's to follow poprock, considering how many I was finding that were reserved premium, I felt pretty fortunate to find this one so late in the game. It just goes to show you that the domainers here who are still "harvesting" may yet have some excellent finds awaiting them.

I like what hugegrowth said here:

mobile internet use is forecast to surpass pc internet use.

I can't say it any clearer than that - people will be using the internet more and more on their mobiles. You can ignore it but it will happen anyway. People will be searching, shopping, surfing, buying and selling, listening to internet radio, making reservations, etc. on their mobiles, and it's started already.

.mobi is being set up as the extension of choice for mobile websites just as all this is happening. When the marketing wave hits and .mobi sites start being advertised and get into people's mindset, the extension will have made it.

If length is an issue, is it better to type in

domainname . com /mobile

or

domainname .mobi

I think the length of domain will become less and less of an issue with mobile, people will type in a domain or term if it is exactly what they are looking for, period. Sounds like this italian term is 17 characters but highly popular, so all of a sudden people won't use their mobiles to search or type in this highly popular term? I don't think so.

I think all the recent .mobi sales, and all the news out about mobile internet progress (if you haven't been asleep the past month), make .mobi a good calculated risk for popular terms.

People who haven't made at least a little investment [...]

www.. dont think too much into it...

of course every type of music is a good one... i didnt think of SoftMusic or probably would have regged it myself.. like you said most of them seemed taken.. as i had checked almost every genre..

Nice reg, espesially at this date.. this is actually an example of QUALITY as opposed to qty..which some .mobi'ers need to take note instead of regging every word they find available..

same with PopRock...good keywords.
