Heh. When I was watching backorders last year there was a .com I wanted. The .net was also dropping and I was able to get that but the .com went on auction and sold for $150.

I checked a month ago, the .com was available and I was able to register it for a reg fee.

Sometimes these things work out.

Sold 3 domains for $400 few years ago... i decided to bulk search all the domains i owned in the past and noticed 3 of them which i sold! is available for reg... i reg them again and now will sell them for $500+ LOL

I regged a name for 6.95 and sold for 2980 few years ago =.=

I sold a name back to the old owner who let it expire for 2k not once but 2 different times to the same owner, the 2nd time 12-mo later when I knew in advance it would drop again and I picked it up again using Snapnames for $60. That was several years ago when Snapnames caught most every non-premium sounding name for only $60. The first time it dropped I hand-reg'd it which was also easy to do at the time. I ended up making 4k selling it back to the company twice (it was generic, not a TM).

Yet another proof that the business world has little understanding of domains. I imagine their Tech department changed personnel and there was nobody around a year later who knew to renew the d@mned domain!

Don't reveal what the name is, just continue to watch it. I bet they will drop it yet again. And update this thread when that happens.
