Someone buying passwords and username to Parking Sites?

Im new here, and someone recently asked if they could buy the "parking" rights to my domain names...password and username to sedo.com I suppose.

I just wanted to know if this is a scam or do people actually do that? I could sell him the "parking rights" for the rest of the term, and then renew and park them under a different name correct?

There is alot of this going on lately. Do not fall for it and report your PM to the MODS so they can see if its somebody different. If they can not get their own parking account then that shows that something is wrong in the first place.

That doesnt mean anything though. I am sure there are many reasons as they are buying parking account. Click fraud etc...

fulfree is the one that PM'd me...it just sounded a little weird to buy a parking account...

but what actually would be wrong with it? For example, they buy my sedo.com account for 1 of my domain names....but since I registered through godaddy.com, I can change the parking to another site at any time correct??? having the username and password in my opinion would be useless, and basically we could "scam" the buyer because I could immediately change who I park the site through.....

1. Its is illegal and against TOS from any parking service company
2. They will use your account and send fake traffic to collect the money and run.

In the end it is illegal. Period.....
