Offers Someone want to broke my domain, how to deal?

Hi,

Dont know if it is the right forum but the moderators will put the thread in the right one i hope.

I got a call for another country that this person would like to broke my domainname in Germany. He want to contact the direction of a large company and sell them the domainname. Now he tells me something about an contract that he is the owner only on paper but not in the whois, this because there cant be started an case against me for trying to sell the domainname. He wants to hear a price for what i will sell the domainname for.

I have never worked with a broker before but what are the points were i should pay attention to? And what prices are used to be payed for an broker? Is this an % of the sale price??

Please give me some advice, when i don't trust it i will not go ahead with it, siging contract i also wont do.

Escrow is all you need. Like MIR said, this could be trouble. Do not sign anything. He can still broker your names without an exclusive agreement. Better yet, if you feel your names will fetch a good price, hire an attorney. We have JBH in the forum here who I know will do a fine job.

Tell him to buy the name from you and then he can deal with his prospective buyer directly. Brokerage is fine as long as you know who you are dealing with.
