Happy Monday Everyone!

I have been toying with SpiderFood.Info and Spider-Food.Info domains lately.

Still not sure if I should create a SEO centric portal or sell these off. Can't make up my mind. Need stronger coffee, I guess... ;)

Thoughts, suggestions?

Any guestimates on wholesale/retail value?

Thanks...

spider food:-
Dummy words placed on an HTML page hoping to fool search engines into ranking them higher in matches to queries.

I didn't know that, yet now it's so obvious!

176 on Overture and 5,000 on Google so maybe value to someone. I don't see much value over reg unless it's being developed in some way.

Thank you, Mr. Webname for your input.

The idea of actually running an SEO portal does not tickle me badly enough. I am sooooooo thankful for that! I don't have any plans to join "The Hair Club" by the end of this year either!

With all that is going on at Google, etc., SEO has turned into a woodoo art, it's not a science anymore and there are lot of bad apples out there. It's as reputable in some circles as used car dealerships or those ambulance chasers. No offense, my fellow SEOs at this nice fora. I am NOT reflecting on anyone in particular, I am only stating my read on this "industry" that seems to be in such a great chaos. It is just not something that I would like to do. Seems to be a highly gray area, a moving target with deliverables that are almost impossible to define and/or deliver.

I don't like to get into anything that does not give me total control on meeting/exceeding my customers' expectations.

So what I was wondering was whether to sell off the names for what ever they sell for, or setup a site or two, and sell it off as a developed site. I think I have gained fairly good insight (school of hard knocks!) into SEO, so I am thinking of setting up some real SEO related content using these names, have adsense running there for a month or two, gauge the revenue/traffic and then consider selling it off to someone really interested in SEO stuff.

Doing SEO stuff is not my cup of tea - certainly not for the long haul -that is.

Good/bad/horrible idea?

Again, thanks much for your insight, my fellow domainers. :)
