Spiderman5.com Sedo Auction

Disappointing. Sedo should not be used as a clearing house for names that clearly violate trademarks. Some might be quick to blame Sedo but I blame the user who is trying to sell the domain even more. Hopefully it will be canceled before its conclusion.

Bidding history is at one bid, so someone must have offered that and they sent it to auction.

I understand that, i just don't see who would pay $2000.

It's probably the owner of spiderman3.com and spiderman4.com, an individual from Korea according to the WHOIS records. I'd imagine he'd want 5 as well, considering he stills owns both 3 and 4 after all these years.

Don't you think Sony would have acted by now if they were going to? Both domains do seem to be getting a lot of traffic.

My "thoughts" on this post is that I think it's strange that your second post since joining 10 months ago is linked to a auction w/(probable) trademark implications..Is the domain yours as the whois has privacy and you've obviously been doing research on this AND gold members can't post in auction/external links
