StargateSeries.com & StargateEpisode.com

I have had these for a while now and I have received advice from one DNF member to develop these as a 'Fan' type of websites.

I have checked with uspto.gov and they do not specifically have a direct trademark issue but he suggested to be safe just to the fan type of website development.

Thoughts on that approach?

BTW I am a fan of the Stargate series.

Thanks, Dave

I don't think TM is going to be a major issue at this time - there are a lot of sites with "Stargate" in them for fan sites (but we all know that can change any minute).

+ on value since it is "Stargate" and not "StargateSG1 / StargateAtlantis" which means you can use it for all 3 series (plus the animated series if you wanted to), maybe even (newer) the movie(s). Heck, you could even go into Wormhole Extreme and have fun with it. ;)

Find a good video feed (I know many of the episodes are on Hulu) and you should be able to get a good site up, I just don't know how you could go about monetizing the site w/o increasing your chances of legal issues.
