what is value of

starwars.uk.com

Unless you develop little value!

Most uk.com domain's are used by businesses in the uk :( Although a very rare keyword and will have good seo i can't see beyond $xx for it with no development.

Best of luck

But it is not .com.uk, it is .uk.com = zero value

i start to see second level domains sold for good money

someone on this forum sold webmaster.uk.com for around 1000$

and i saw medicine.us.com go for 1200$ on dnjournal

but these are good generic one word names better than yours

high xx $-low xxx $ enduser

good luck

I would have thought there would be TM issues which affect the value.

$0 due to TM.

Guys there is NOT TM for second level domains. The uk.com etc owner is NOT official registrar. Or do you think i,e, microsoft.dnforum.com would have TM issues too ? because it is actually same case...

second level domain names are for people who like to pay to get people on there sites
this domain name is worthless i think i read at sedo where people bought a name like bussiness in the secondary for like 1200. just to let you know people make mistakes and im sure the guy who bought it found out later it was a mistake.

TM you can have it yanked at any moment.....sorry, it is worth less than reg value and I doubt you have any traffic due to the crappy second hand domain......

Yeah actually there is......if a corp or a buisness owns a name they own it....especially in a case like this....everyone in the world knows what and where this came from...

It is worthless though...no one types in these extentsions.

Good just for this event

mid $xx

no sorry still a tm.........they can and will yank it from you any time they want...

In fact I wrote an e-mail to the studios tonight about this issue...maybe I will get free tickets to the show.

is not TM issue Because its an expression can be used in some place like the US Defense Project "Star WAR"

but .uk.com is not really good option

We will see...when Lucas knows about this. It's early there give him a few hours. What was it he made last year alone like 60 million, okay, stand up to a defense team that can utilize monies like that.

I would say this wars happened in other Galaxies (out of earth) not in UK

Then we don't know if there are TM issues in other planets :)

Okay, I don't care. Really, you are trying to rationalize a monumental movie that has been out since the mid seventies and everything, and all I want are free movie tickets.....Really I don't care either way....to each their own...but hopefully I get a duece pair of tickets....

Second level domain has NOT TM issue. I.e. i have all my domains as wildcard. So anybody can come to me because anytmintheworld.mydomain.com will resolve ? Or if they make microsoft.dnforum.com, the Micwosoft would sue them and win...which domain actually ? If I own search.com, I can do google.search.com, yahoo.search.com etcetera, as a wildcard domain, php search engine and they can at most suck my d*ck, and I would bet on this a lot !
