Great MOBI news posted from another forum...

StateFarm.mobi is advertised right now at StateFarm.com homepage....StateFarm.mobi will likely be fully functional & non-redirecting in the near future.

BTW-Statefarm is a $56,000,000,000 insurance and financial services company with 79,000 employees, and 16700 agents serving over 70 million policies in US and Canada.

time to reg some typos

lol, I heard a company advertising "TV mobi" on the radio yesterday.

The site isn't even a .mobi site... It's http://statefarm.com/mobile . statefarm.mobi isn't even a site yet.
StateFarm.mobi is up

http://www.statefarm.mobi/

The mobile might have been the town of Mobile where they are not too welcomed at the moment along with the folks in Mississippi and the Gulf coast.

...and then wait for your letters. ;)

-=DCG=-
It will be awile. They are too busy with all the rejection letters and cancellation letters to the folks along the Gulf Coast.:approve:

But don't you worry, MoFo Cus. They'll get cha. Might even offer me a reward  for turning you in! :gossip:

and the .mobi revolution continues on...

Yes alot of companies are using the .mobi as a redirect.. perhaps first until later.. as the trend continues..

There are companies like CNNmoney.mobi that I have seen advertise the .mobi to then use a redirect to wap.brand.com/mobile etc..

Now all we have to wait for is Google.mobi and MSN.mobi to follow suit as stand alone dot mobi sites then the craze will be outrageous..

My guess is this Dot Mobi business consortium may be planning that move timely for later during a dry spell (since all the other partners already have their .mobis up stand alone).. it's all about the continuous leaky faucet of Dot Mobi news.. "slow playing it" in poker when you know you have tophand.. something is very hot when the little things mean alot..

What are the implications for us then?

Well, strong .Mobi aftermarket inquiries for at least $x,xxx might be wise now if you have the money.. waiting for the tomorrow (google.mobi?) as a domainer may cost us..

Kind Regards,

Yelo
