Hey!

I just (believe it or not) SNAPPED (!) this one. I didn't even think they work anymore. Anyways, ALL major TLDS are long gone, plus .cn and stuff like that.

I know the hyphen isn't as good as the name without it, but what do you think if I find an end-user?

oh my! Are you kidding me?? Other's need to wake up and smell the coffee! There is nothing wrong with hyphenated names (they absolutely dominate the search engines), especially a single hyphenated domain with an excellent search term! Here are a few that have sold, or have a mid to high four figure asking price:

home-business.com
weight-loss.com
free-sex.com
search-engines.com
tech-jobs.com

I'd easily give yours a resale value of $1k. Helluva catch!

believe it or not, I know of several businesses that registered their business names as HYPHENS

one example was company-produce.com

company=example

anyway, he was looking for some web work, so I look for his site and see the hyphen, so I registered the domain name without the hyphen

when I went to do my pitch I explained to him whoever did his stuff before knew nothing about the net

I said why did you use a hyphen

he says the web designer RECOMMENDED IT

so I explain he needs the name with no hyphens

he says "I BETTER REGISTER IT"

I explained I already did

hehe

anyway, I gave him the name and charged him big time for the design we did for him

tons of hyphens in major movie domain sites too

personally I don't like them, but some businesses INTENTIONALLY register them

in this case it should be an easy sell to find a stock-broker that wants it
