I'm not really sure why i'm bringing this up...

Why would you sit on top of a multimillion dollar domain name and not do anything with it, he's pulling in (according to http://www.websiteoutlook.com/www.stockmarket.com) $2.36 a day, so thats like $900 a year when he could have a very simple website up and make thousands more, with little or no work. ORR you can put a few thousand dollars into the site, make something neat, and have a nice stock market news site, etc etc.. You get my point.. I'm just so flustered right now that none of that probably made any sense at all. Stupid rich people.

that $ 2.36 a day is BS, I put in a domain of mine that make $400/500 a day and the result is $ 0.23 per day................. that tool is a joke

There is no way stockmarket.com only makes $2.36 a day...

It makes much more.

I think it is just estimation. I think the domain is making much more than this.

Alright well either way... wouldn't you think it would make much much more than this if it had some content on it and wasn't parked?

He's probably making several hundred a day. Lets say the site pulls $250 a day on average which is entirely possible and probably on the low side.

250 x 365 = $91,250 per year

Lets say he sells it at T.R.A.F.F.I.C., unless he makes several million as in $5 to $10m, its not worth selling. Why? because the value of the domain will only go up, .com will remain king, and keyword prices will probably go up as well. $1m is only about 10 years revenue.

I'm positive Xedoc knows how to maximize his ROI on this domain and others.

And, if he wasn't maximizing it today. I'm sure they have plans for the domain in the future.

There is no way for me to know (nor do I care) but I bet they spend almost $ 1 (USD) million a yr on domains at auctions (Traffic, Namejet, Snapnames, etc)

So, I guess you don't have to worry about them not maximizing this domain.

Ahh I understand better now. :ok: Thanks

On that same site it says
"stockmarket.com Estimated Worth $1722.8 USD"
I wonder how they come up which such a value.

I looked all over the site and I didn't see an estimated worth.
Where did you see it?

I recently sold the .org and it was making over $900 a year.

You'd think a domain like this could do better with some affiliate programs for stock market systems, stock brokers, etc. than just PPC, although PPC is easy and probably pays good.

That's was pretty much the point of my first post...
