Stolen domain!

hello!
about a week ago the user MIHOLDEM said she wanted to buy my domain, i received money and i pushed the domain....

24 hours later i got an email from pay pal which said that the payment i received might be an unathorized payment though the owner of the credit card said that he had nothing to do with any domains...

now a week later all of my money has been reversed to the "buyer", and my domain is gone...it wasnt a very good one (dnsnote.com, high traffic domain) but i lost about 300 usd...

so please watch out for a user called MIHOLDEM!
if somebody could help me, i would appreciate it a lot!

That won't do anything, i've lost $900 through paypal before. They won't do anything for sale of "virtual" items. Same with godaddy, they'll just say it was a 3rd party agreement and won't do anything about it. Been down that road before.

I think that once a complaint has been filed against a member, there should be some notice, like, "Dispute in Process" below there user's name, with a link to the thread.

Let the buyer/seller beware.

Me too have been duped by the same person InBrownStockings. Did everything what Adam and Admin told me to do, but it's been 2 weeks since the fraud took place but still no positive developments. Mailed to Godaddy, and they say "You and buyer (InBrownStockings) had a 3rd party agreement, so we are not able to interrupt in this regard." Mailed so many times to Adam, and he replied (a few times) but no signs of positive result. I have lost $1592 in the process and don't know where to go to solve this. But i am hopeless now (with disappointment). I don't think that it would be solved ever.

I don't know why Acro always thinks these places such as GD and Sedo will do anything about it.

In my experience they will not lift a finger to help and tell you the official coprorate canned response which is they need a court order and nothing less.

With that said there is at least a slight possibilty they can do something re a false whois (if they feel like it) but even then it is not a given. I once reported a false whois to GD on a name used for porn (that I wanted to buy for non-porn) but GD said as long as at least one element of the whois was valid (i.e. the fax number) they would do nothing.
