Thanks nameinvestor. Haven't seen any action out of NSI with respect to regaining these names though.

Great work NameInvestor you suceeded! All the names you listed as stolen have now been returned to NetSol and ripped from the jaws of the thief and DotRegistrar's clutches. Absolutely amazing, there is justice after all.

Congratulations, you know your stuff. And you proved a lot of these DNforum dopes wrong. I doubted at first too, but seeing Who Is records change is proof you succeeded. Great work again, you discovered the thief and brought it to NetSol's attention and they miraculously responded correctly. I guess they could not afford further loss of investor/customer trust.

the question remains, who was the thief? One of my friends suggested to me it was DotRegistrar all the time, since they would have the most to benefit.

Of course that is utter speculation, please dont sue draqon for slander, ok?

good work nameinvestor and brujah. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!

Brujah---make sure you email NSI all the stolen names you know of. I know one Internet company that sent NSI a list, and ALL of those names are now returned to NSI.

Great work again.

Indeed, I echo RacerX's comments. There's one thing to catch a name legitimately if it expires. It's an entirely different thing to steal it via fraudulent transfer.

If Dotregistar isn't able to say who stole it using their system (they do have credit card details for their clients, don't they? Plus, accurate WHOIS info ala

http://www.icann.org/announcements/announcement-03sep02.htm

then there should be severe penalties on them as a registrar.

George, im pretty sure i heard that the domain thief was using stolen credit cards. so dotregistrar might not be able to say who the thieves were.

as for having incorrect info, NSI would be the first to suffer punishment. i wouldnt be surprised if 20% of their domains have outdated data.
