www.PatchSearch.com

With the threat of more worms, code reds, nimdas and whatever else they can throw at us, this seemed like a good buy.

I think I'll develope this and see what happens.

Search for:
Software Patches
Security Patches
Game Patches
Virus Patches

Any comments welcome...........Thanks

Limited valuation ... as I don't think "patch" is common enough term. Could be so for the 'techies, but not for the masses. IMO.
Good Luck.

Yeah.... I think the site has great potential if you really spent some time on it....like having all the content hosted at your own site rather than just being a portal for other sites.

Could have a good resale value too if designed well & looked professional.

My 2c.

Excerpt from ZDnet news:
"On Thursday, London-based market intelligence firm Mi2g said that the worm caused between $950 million and $1.2 billion in lost productivity in its first five days worldwide. That puts the worm at No. 9 on the company's list of the most costly malicious code, behind the likes of the Code Red worm, with its average of $2.6 billion in productivity loss; the LoveLetter virus, with $8.8 billion; and the Klez virus, with $9.0 billion."

Entire Article:

Hopefully next time some of this lost productivity can be eliminated by going to www.PatchSearch.com and finding their security patch before trouble hits...............hehe

WOW.....I didn't realize the numbers were that high!!!!

Just found this article also:
"Should Microsoft pay your security patch costs?"
