Suppose I own a premium domain for a specific niche and there are 4 or 5 enterprises that can be very interested in buying it because it's related to their activities or products. What's the best thing to do?

Should I enter the domain in a premium auction for example in Sedo and let them know that the domain goes to auction? Or should I try to contact the enterprises in some way and try to sell the domain directly for a fixed price?

Thank you a lot for your advice :)

Contacting them first would be better. IMO

Most of enterprises & big companies don't like to join auction after domains. Especially If they aren't domain holders/investors already.

contact first (no emails) - if no interest at all - auction it and contact again with auction info IMO

Thank you a lot guys, this is very helpful.

DNP, good point about no emailing them... but, if some companies are in other countries, and have no way to reach them personally, arrange a meeting with any director or person who is in charge of taking decisions... and only have some emails to contact them, taken from the whois of another domains they own (or maybe contact through their website, but this way is much probably to never reach the right person, especially if they are big)... Should I call instead of email them?

Thank you a lot :)
